September 2021 Falcon Newsletter

Fairview Elementary School

From the Principal

We have had a great start to the school year! Now that students have begun to settle into routines, parents should let students come into the building on their own at arrival unless absolutely necessary to help them inside. If you need to meet with the teacher, please make arrangements ahead of time. We are trying very hard to keep our students healthy and in seat! We appreciate all who have cooperated with us in this endeavor.

Teachers are currently working to complete fall assessments on all students. This information will be used to make plans for small group or intervention work as well as to monitor student progress. Follow up assessments may also be needed for some students.

Later this month, teachers will be sending more information home about their classroom and grade level curriculum that has been traditionally shared at a Back to School event. Due to Covid, we will not be having an in-person event, but will send the information to families.

We look forward to a year that will have some challenges, but when our school and families work together, we can make sure our students have a great year!

Wishing you a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!
