The Principal's Corner
It seems like we are in our groove. Back to School Night was a success. Choir, girl's basketball and Panther Pacers are in full swing. Before you know it we will be signing up for parent teacher conferences.
MK Ekins is our new counselor. She is running Panther Pacers as a way to meet everyone. She will start teaching lessons in the classrooms very soon.
Please take the time to review the Pierce Park Student Handbook. Pay particular attention to the birthday treats and cell phones/smart watches section.
Go Panthers!
Kelly Anne

Illness Procedure
Not Feeling Well?

Staying home when a person has symptoms of illness protects the school community by preventing the spread of illness and allows the person experiencing symptoms of illness the opportunity to rest and recover. CHANGES TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FEES FOR 2023 2024
School meals were free for all students during the 2021 2022 school year. Congress has not extended these waivers for the 2023 2024 school year. Beginning in August, students will be charged for meals based upon their household benefit status.
If you think your household would qualify (eligibility guidelines) for free or reduced priced meals, you are encouraged to complete an online meal application. Applications will be available in early July 2023. Once determined, meal prices for 2023 2024 school year will be available on the District Food & Nutrition Services website.

New Designs
A new collection of "family" spirit wear designs will roll out today. Each can be customized with a drop-down menu to include the following options: Mom, Dad, Parent, Grandma, Grandpa, Grandparent, Brother, Sister, Aunt, Uncle, Teacher and Coach.
Women's Cut Tees
We have received a lot of customer feedback regarding sizing for our Bella Canvas women's cut slim fit tees. This style runs extremely small, with people generally needing to order 2 sizes larger than normal in order for them to fit properly. Because of this, we are switching our Bella Canvas women's cut tees to relaxed fit, which have great reviews and a much truer fit! This update will be live online this week.
Here is the link to order Pierce Park Elementary Spirit Wear!
