Digital Citizenship (for kids)
Being Safe!
When doing on a media awareness website always go to your age group and not a group older than yours. Let's look at some of the important rules for being safe online.
Protecting your information is very important or else someone will try to steal it and use it as their own. Now that's not a very nice thing to do is it? So, always remember to keep your private information safe.
Respect is probably the number one thing to remember. Don't be rude to others because they will be rude to you but they may hurt you more than you hurt them. so be respectful to others and to yourself.
Of course staying safe online is one of the rules. That's what this is all about. Being safe online is really important because there can be someone online who will try to talk you into doing something bad. So be careful about what happens on the internet.
OK! now for the serious part. Cyber Bulling. Cyber bulling is the worst thing someone can do to another. They make you life horrible by well you know bulling you through the web. So be cautions who you get involved with on the internet.
Last thing, balance the time between going on the internet and then going outside and having fun or doing other activities. Going on the internet is fun but staying on too much is a no no. Go outside and play and have fun.
THANK YOU!
