Southeastern Orchestra Royal Update
HSEHS Southeastern Orchestra, Families!
The Southeastern Orchestras have been busy these last few weeks! It's always exciting to hear the student's progress this time of year. We wrapped up our final playing assessment for this concert cycle last week and the students are doing a great job preparing. Serenata and Symphony finished Sectional Leader auditions and results were posted this week. It was good to see how many students auditioned and watch them conduct a sectional. This Friday is our e-Learning day and the assignment has already been posted and some have even completed it! Next week the final concert seating will be posted and our focus will be on balancing the ensemble and cleaning the final challenging sections.
We are excited to share our program with you and hope to see you all at the concert!
We have several important announcements and updates below so please take a moment to read through.
Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

PRIVATE LESSONS
We strongly encourage families to help students get involved with private lessons. Whether your orchestra student is trying to push to the next challenge with their playing or needing extra help, private lessons are an excellent way to go. For your convenience we have included a link to our Private Lesson teacher list. The highlighted teachers are highly recommended and are aware that they are on our list. Please feel free to reach out to them directly. We will also keep the linked button with the buttons at the bottom of our newsletter for you throughout the year.

MESSAGE FROM MISS TAYLOR!
Dear parents and students,
I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone better this past month, and to see the progress students have made in such a short amount of time has been a pleasure to watch! I have been learning a lot about rehearsal strategies and conducting techniques from Mrs. Nieto and Mr. Kunz, and am exciting to expand on these concepts even more in October. Hopefully I will get a chance to meet and speak with parents at our Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 10th. I am really excited for this concert - as it will be my first time conducting an ensemble in front of an audience!
