Sophomore Year
ASHLEY NELSON
WHAT I ENJOYED MOST
The things I enjoyed the most about the school year revolved mainly around sports and friends. I enjoyed playing volleyball in the beginning of the year and playing soccer and softball towards the end. Spending time with my friends during the week and on the weekend made the school year go by fast.
3 THINGS I LEARNED
One thing I learned from this year are that you can't get behind in your schoolwork because then you'll spend the end of the trimester trying to stuff turned in. Another thing I learned is that you have to be independent and rely on yourself more times that being dependent. I also learned that Spanish is and always will be my least favorite class.
3 THINGS I DID
VOLLEYBALL
In the beginning of the year, I tried out for the volleyball team and made it. I had fun in volleyball and got closer with some friends I really didn't talk to.
SOFTBALL
Softball is my favorite sport. I love when season comes and hates when it ends.
PARA-SAILED
Every year, my family goes to California. This year me and my sister wanted to parasail. It was fun and I'd love to do it again. I was scared at first but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
GOALS
My personal goals for next year are to stay out of trouble during the school year. Another personal goal of mine is to get motivated for school. I also want to catch up on all the sleep that I've missed during the school year.
My academic goals for next year are to stay caught up on my work. Also, I want to get my attendance up to not being tardy or absent from classes.
SUMMER PLANS
SOFTBALL
Softball season goes until July 9th so it takes up a lot of my summer so I guess it's a summer plan
ROADTRIP WITH FRIENDS
I always go on adventures with my friends to places during the last month and half of summer. We'll probably spend the rest of summer road-tripping.
CLIFF JUMPING
This summer me and my friends plan to drive to a cliff and jump into the lake.
