What is Child Abuse?
Neglect, physical violence, emotional violence, and sexual harassment are all counted as child abuse. A child may feel worthless, unloved, and unneeded for extended periods of time because of the abuse they've suffered.

How Can You Help?

Long Term Effect of Child Abuse
Neglect and abuse during youth can drastically affect a person. 80% of 21-year-olds who reported being a used as children have depression or other mental illness. On estimate, one third of adults a used in their youth will grow up to abuse their own kids.
