Dress Code
With the warmer weather here please make sure students are wearing clothes that follow our dress code. Inappropriate clothing includes: “Short shorts,” skimpy tank tops, crop tops and tops that expose the midriff, clothing with excessive holes or can be seen through, and other clothing that is not in keeping with community standards. The length of shorts needs to be longer than your middle finger when holding arms at your sides.

COVID Test Kits
We have test kits available. Please let the main office or your child's teacher know and we can send them home with your child.
After School Program
Our After School Program is a great opportunity for your child to get extra help in reading, math, and work on social skills with their friends. We offer the program from 3-4 PM on days school is in session. All students who stay will also get a snack. Students will be dismissed at 4:00 - please wait outside and they will come out to you. This program is open to ALL TEAM students. Just let your child's teacher know if they will be staying.
Recess
We do go outside everyday as long as it is not raining and the windchill is above zero. Please make sure your child has appropriate clothes for recess.
Extended Day
Extended day will start on the first day of school. Our doors open at 7:40 AM. If you drop off before that and your child does not qualify for Extended Day, they will need to wait outside until the bell rings at 7:40 AM.
If your family uses our 4-5 PM extended day, your child needs to leave when you come to pick them up. You also need to pick them up as soon as you are done with work. This is a free service and if families are abusing the program we will need to discontinue it.
Join our TEAM Academy School Board
We are looking for a parent to join our TEAM Academy School Board. Our board is made up of teachers, a parent, and a community member. We meet once a month on the 3rd Wednesday at 4:15. Our meetings are usually only 30 minutes long. Current board members are Janel Schmidt, Chris Hering, Polly Christensen, Denise Gilbertson, Jenni Brittain, and Jed Kalbow. Contact Mrs. Courtney if you are interested in joining our school board - jcourtney@team.k12.mn.us

Clean up your voicemailbox
Please make sure your voicemailbox is not full. There are times we need to get ahold of parents and are unable to leave a voicemail.

THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES
As we start the school year, it is important that our students have access to learning resources and technology that they need to accomplish their academic goals. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has created a funding program to help eligible families with the cost of Internet access to the home in the form of a benefit program called The Affordable Connectivity Program.
This program is designed to ensure households can afford the level of Internet access they need for work, school, healthcare, and other essential services. The program provides a discount of up to $30 per month towards Internet service for eligible households. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if the family provides between $10 and $50 towards the purchase price.
Households that are eligible for this program must have an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or if a member of the household meets one of several additional criteria.
If you have a need for assistance with the cost of Internet access to your home, this program can help. More information is available at https://www.fcc.gov/acp.
Enrolling is easy and can be done either online or by US Mail. If you have any questions, please call the Affordable Connectivity Program Help Line at (877) 384-2575 for assistance.

E-Learning Days
E-Learning Days
All students have the Snow Day BINGO Boards in their binders. Extra copies can be printed off our website. If students have questions during eLearning Day, they can contact their teacher by phone call, text, or via email. Students will have one week to complete their Snow Day BINGO Board for an eLearning day. Students will be absent for that day if work is received by the teacher. This is a regular absence, but not unexcused.
