Intermountain Academy Monthly Newsletter - November 2020

Welcome to Fall!

Greetings, Fabulous Families of Intermountain Academy!

It is finally starting to feel a bit more like Fall! We had a wonderful Halloween celebration last week, that really helped to bring everyone's spirits up!

With Fall approaching, so is Flu season. Please be mindful of your interactions with others who may not be feeling well, and please make sure you and your student stay home if you are not feeling well. We appreciate your support with supporting our efforts to keep all students and staff safe and healthy!

The Academy is in need of spare clothing and shoes. If you have any gently worn clothing or shoes that you are no longer using, we would love a donation! Thank you!

November Calendar

  • November 3 - Election Day! 1/2 Day for students
  • November 11 - Veteran's Day - No School
  • November 26-27 - Thanksgiving Holiday - No School

Hybrid Learning

Thank you for your support during our Hybrid Learning Phase! We are dedicated to ensuring the best possible education for all of our students, and we are still figuring out all of the ins and outs of this new way of learning, so we appreciate your patience!

If your child is coming on campus, please ensure you provide them with a face mask - even if they are unable to wear it - we will be teaching the behavior of wearing it. Also, please send your student with a refillable water bottle, as we will not be using the drinking fountains for safety.

Thank you!

When your child is engaging in Virtual Learning, please make sure they are checking their Google Classroom for their agenda for the day. Teachers have been asked to update the Google Classroom with daily or weekly agendas so that students know when to be online for virtual instruction, in small groups, or for any independent work they may have. Please reach out with any questions!

Quarter 2 Tuition Due and Enrollment Packets Needed!

It's that time again, if you haven't already, please make your Quarter 2 tuition payment. Katie recently sent an email about payment.

Also, Katie is still in need of many enrollment packets for this year. This is imperative that we receive these as we need updated information regarding your child and family. Please return the packets to Katie ASAP, thank you!

if you have any questions, please reach out to her at

Thank you!

Are you or someone in your family in need of a mask? We have been provided with a donation of homemade cloth masks for adults and children. If you are in need of a mask, please reach out to your child's teacher so we can get you one.

A huge THANK YOU to KE&G Construction Company! They are donating their time and resources to start clearing the land for our Autism/Sensory Friendly Park!

If you know of any other community partners who would be interested in donating time or funds to the park, please let me know!
