Join Nicole Porter Willcox at home with special Guest Art therapist Caroline Maby for a day of exploration and creativity. Caroline is the founding Director of Couleur de Coeur in France and responded in Haiti with CHART support. Throughout the day the two women will lead cross-cultural comparisons on the effectiveness of art therapy trauma response.

In the morning Nicole will introduce everyone to the effective teaching methods she employed to initiate and expand art therapy programming in Newtown, CT. After lunch Nicole will share past Emerald Sketch Art therapy projects and upcoming activities/ opportunities.

The two will discuss responses of the Charlie Hebdo shooting and methods to implement an art therapy response team.

A final rejuvenating art therapy task will foster self awareness and growth while closing for the day.
