CIS Weekly Updates
2022-2023 #13 November 14-18, 2022
PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
Students have a four day this week. We have no school on Friday, November 18 due to staff professional development. Next week we have a three day week with no school on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Enjoy the extra time off with your family.
Are you interested in coordinating STEM club? We are looking for a parent (or two) who would like to support a STEM club before or after school. If interested then please let me know and I can put you in contact with the right person. Thank you for your consideration.
We have many students who are charging their lunches which has resulted in a negative balance on their accounts. Please take time to log in to PaySchools to see your child's lunch account balance. If you have any questions then please let us know.
Have a FANTASTIC week!
Brandon Cobb, Principal

COVID-19 & ILLNESS AT CIS
ODH recommends schools follow general isolation procedures from the CDC for confirmed cases. If students or staff feel sick or suspect they might have COVID-19, they should stay home and take a rapid test. If positive, students and staff should stay home from school for at least 5 days and longer if necessary until fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) and symptoms are improving. Additionally, after isolation ends, students and staff should continue to take precautions as they resume normal activities by wearing a mask for 5 days (or after two negative tests 48 hours apart).
