Gold, Fight, Win
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Humble ISD is proud to be part of Gold Fight Win, a partnership with three local non-profits, Addi's Faith Foundation, L3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer, with a mission to support families battling pediatric cancer.
You can show your support this month by wearing gold!
Purchase a Gold Fight Win T-shirt at any of these locations or you can order one from the PTO Website to be delivered to ESE. *Orders from PTO must be made by tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept 8)
Visit www.goldfightwin.com to make a donation and see all the Gold Fight Win events happening this month.

Recorders for Music
Those students who ordered recorders will bring them home tomorrow. We will not use them in Music Class this semester, but we will reevaluate for next semester.

Attendance Tips
Did you know that students who are frequently tardy miss out on important morning instruction that helps prepare them for the learning they will do that day? Adjusting morning routines at home can help you get your awesome Eagles to school by 7:50 am, and help them S.O.A.R. throughout the day!
All student absences should be reported to the Front Office as soon as possible, or within 48 hours of a student’s return to campus. Absences will only be excused once documentation is received. Please pick ONE of the following 4 ways to report your student’s absence:
Email the Attendance Office at shannon.wild@humbleisd.net
Send Parent Note or Doctor Note with Student
Call 281-641-3103 (24h automated attendance line)
Fax Parent or Doctor Note to 281-641-3117
Students may be checked out through the day until 2:30pm (11:30pm on early dismissal days). This helps the staff prepare for dismissal at the end of the school day.
Anyone who wishes to check out a student must:
be listed as a student's guardian or emergency contact (contact the Front Office if changes need to be made)
present a valid photo ID that matches the name on the student’s emergency contact list.
