Welcome Back, West Ridge Elementary Cougars!!

The first week of school has been amazing.

I want to thank all of our parents for your patience and understanding as we work on our after school pick-up. Click on the button below to let us know how your child will be going home at the end of the day. You will need to fill out a form for each child you have registered at West Ridge Elementary. Thank you for your help.

There have been some date changes for Cross Country. More information can be found below, along with sign-up information.

Every Friday is hat day for students and staff members.

Office hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday-Friday.

It is time for Cross County!! This program is for students in 1st-5th grade. All students interested in Cross Country must signed up by September 16th to participate in practices.

The start date is Tuesday September 20th. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays each week beginning September 20 through October 11 after school from 3:20-4:00 pm.

Cross Country t-shirts can be purchased through Momentum Ink by clicking the button below. T-shirts must be ordered by Sept 16 to allow for processing time and delivery to the school before the meets. Please note-our school has new colors this year (teal and black), so previous years t- shirts will not be used because of the school color change from maroon to teal.

• practice meet is October 6 at Ponderosa Elementary
• ALL-district meet for grades 1-3 on October 12 at Genesis Prep/Real Life Soccer fields ALL-district meet for grades 4-5 on October 13 at Qmelin Park
• Meets take place after school
• No transportation is provided for meet events
• More information will be given regarding the practice meet and other pertinent information at the first week of practices
• All students must have a filled and submitted online registration form to participate in practices and meets and to establish how they will get home after practices

Comfortable shoes to run in and water bottles are encouraged for cross country practices and meets.

Monday, September 12 Late Start Monday (school starts at 9:25...students can arrive at 8:55)

Wednesday, September 14 Fundraiser begins (more information will be sent home)

Thursday, September 16 Cross Country registration and cross country T-Shirt orders due

Tuesday, September 20 Cross Country begins after school

Wednesday, September 28 Fundraiser Ends (All money collected due)

Friday, September 30 Grandparents Breakfast...more information to come
