A Principal's Perspective
"There is a collective value in investing small amounts of time over a long period." Today was our SIT day. In SIT meetings, we have seen the power of small amounts of time invested over a long period of time by a team of professionals supporting a student purposefully with a mission for success that has resulted in tremendous progress! Although students may be struggling with deficits in academics, behavior, social situations, etc., we see the power of a team of professional educators coming together to make and implement a plan of action.
Yes, the struggle is real for us too! Seeing results takes patience, times for encouragement, seeking out solutions with others, thinking creatively to find another strategy, staying positive and living out our mission for each student to be successful. It is hard work - certainly not for the faint-hearted! This is a great time of year to see the collective investment in a child pay off with remarkable results! Thank you for making a difference in each child's life at GP.
Be Legendary - See the possibilities!
