Staff Luncheon Help Wanted
Media Center - May Help Needed!
The TRMS Media Center staff needs our help during the month of May. There is, of course, always help needed with shelving books. But also the staff needs a hard working crew to help with device collection on May 16th and 17th. All student laptops are collected, turned in, and checked in for the summer. Please visit the Sign Up Genius link below and consider taking a couple of hours out of your day to help with this important task! Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
Fulton County Strategic Plan Survey
Our Fulton County School District is committed to supporting our people and culture as an important pillar of our Strategic Plan 2022. At the end of each school year, we ask our families and staff to share their input to understand how we are doing. Your feedback will also help us to identify possible next steps we should take to meet our goals.
Please help us capture your experience by taking this 10-minute survey via the link provided below. Your responses will be reported anonymously.
The survey will be open from Monday, April 29, 2019 through Friday, May 17, 2019. We thank you in advance for your important feedback.

Census Verification for New Student Information System Coming Soon
Parents,
Please be on the lookout for the “Census Verification” email from Fulton County. You will need to verify your household information for our new student information system, Infinite Campus. Starting next school year, Fulton County Schools will use Infinite Campus to communicate your child’s grade, attendance, etc. instead of Home Access Center. The link to FCS Infinite Campus will be posted on May 8th on the school website for your review. You will receive more detailed information via emails and flyers. There will also be parent support line available during 7/10-8/31/2019.
Rising 6th Grade Student/Parent Boot Camp - Wednesday, July 31st
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, rising 6th grade students are invited to a half-day boot camp filled with pertinent information on "Getting to Know TRMS." The session is free of charge, and both students and parents are welcome. Students will have opportunities to learn ins and outs of Taylor Road, from learning to open lockers to using technology. Parents will also have informational sessions of their own to learn about middle school expectations and strategies to navigate through social/emotional changes and needs of young adolescence led by a licensed counselor from the Summit Counseling Center.
You only need to attend ONE session, either in the morning or afternoon. There will be no snacks or meals served. Students may bring a water bottle and simple snacks. If you have more than one student wishing to attend the session, please fill out the form for each student using the link provided below. See you there!
Yearbooks are still on sale!
Please reserve your 2019 TRMS yearbook at yearbooksonsale.com before all copies are sold! A limited number of yearbooks have been ordered and we will likely sell out this year. All grades will receive their books on Awards Day, Friday, May 17th. For questions, please email Tiffany Dodson at dodson@fultonschools.org.
