This article is simply a compilation of opinions from Hawaiian natives
How do you feel about Foreigners entering and slowly taking over your homeland?
Apikalia- Foreigners are called foreigners because they are somewhere where they don't belong. My family has been here for generations, and this is where we have always been and always will be, unless you have grown up here, you don't belong. These foreigners need to leave, they are taking up unnecessary space, using up our resources, and nobody wants them here!
What are your opinions on the Open Door Policy?
Kainoa- I have nothing good to say about the Open Door Policy, and as my mother used to tell me, "if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. Unless it's to a mean person, then smack them in the face." Since you are not mean, I will not smack you in the face, but I will tell you that I don't believe that traditions should be altered, changed, or discontinued.. And I most definitely don't think that you should force a new religion on people who have been doing just fine with their own religion.
Do you want to see the annexation of Hawaii by the U.S.?
This person requested to be anonymous ( too bad we're not nice) Valdez- I know for most people the last thing that they want to see is the annexation of Hawaii, but that is not necessarily the case for me. I hope/ look forward to the annexation of Hawaii by the U.S. I am not a traitor, I value our traditions and have enjoyed the past, but at the same time, I think that it is time to move on. Our island is great, but our methods are outdated. I truly believe that the annexation of Hawaii by the U.S. can only lead to great things.
