The notice stated that sick and edelry people are at an increased risk, but otherwise it was safe to drink. One mother helped bring the crisis out of the shadows.LeeAnne Walters, a mother of 4 noticed her children had red rashed whenever they took baths , had clumps of hair falling out , and one son had abdominal pains. She notice when she started giving her children baths in bottle water the symptoms would go away. Theres still a problem though, 41% of Flint lives in poverty so most cant afford to buy bottle water
