Our Mission: To Glorify God by making More and Better Disciples
From the Administrator
Hi everyone!
Welcome to this week's CRC newsletter! Here you will find time-sensitive announcements, events, service schedules, offering schedules, our prayer list and even a link to our bulletin "NEWS". I will send these out each week, typically on Thursdays. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
Have a great weekend and see you on Sunday!
In Christ,
Nancy - Church Office Administrator
Sunday morning text: Psalm 1
Life Groups begin this week! Please join us immediately following our worship service for our Life Group Kick-Off and All Church BBQ. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for a Life Group today!
Evening Coffee Break will have an introduction to Judges by Pastor Lambert on Tuesday, September 17 at 7 pm in the church social hall. We welcome all ladies who are interested in learning more about the book of Judges. Please contact Jennifer Koelewyn, (559)707-5294 or Carla Kootstra (559) 289-8737 for further information.
Tuesday morning Bible study will begin on October 1 at 9am in the Council Room. We will be studying “Finding God Faithful” by Kelly Mentor. Trace the path of Joseph’s life in the Book of Genesis to observe how God’s sovereignty reigns, even in our darkest moments. Learn to recognize when God is working during periods of waiting, trust God’s plan when life doesn’t make sense, and rest in the sufficiency of His presence in every circumstance. His provision is enough, His presence is constant, and His purpose is unstoppable. For more information contact Gayle Zonneveld at 269-7600.
Keep connected with us! Are you receving our First CRC Weekly via email which will keep you up to date on what is just ahead? If you would like to be added to our email list please contact the Office Administrator, Nancy Azevedo.
Check out the upstairs loft and youth meeting rooms! The area has been beautifully decorated. Artists in our congregation put together most of the art that is now hanging upstairs- full of reminders of God’s love for us and his call on our lives. This space will bless so many people, especially our teens with a place to hear about God, to connect with each other and other adult mentors, and ideally to meet with God.
"In House" New City Catechism - All parents with at least one child between the ages of 3 and 6th grade are invited to take part in New City Catechism! Download the app (search "New City Catechism APP") on your phone, tablet or other electronic devices. The lesson this week will be: What is the Lord’s Supper?
Join the ‘New City Catechism Discussion with First CRC’ Group on Facebook!
A LiveStream of our Sunday morning worship is available anytime on our website (http://hanfordcrc.org/livestream) or through your SmartTV or Mobile Device via Boxcast. If you need assistance please contact Tim Thomas at twthomas.2002@gmail.com
