Green Folder: Your student will bring home a green communication each day. In that folder, there will be a place for you to write any notes or for me to communicate with you that way as well. This folder is your student's responsibility. Please make sure to talk to your student about making sure they get the papers turned in to me.
Homework: Each night, your student will be responsible for reading 20-30 minutes.
Transportation: Please call the office if you have a transportation change for the day. Please make sure you have let me know how your child will typically travel home.
Please make sure your student is dressing warm each day. We go outside for Recess at 10:05 and some days it is very chilly. They can keep coats in their locker until it is time for recess as needed.

How to help at home
You can also chat about their day and ask what they have been learning. Staying informed about what is happening in class helps them be more successful.
I have sent home information about a free math website we have been using in class called Prodigy. It does have a paid version but this is not required for the program to be beneficial. It is a great and FUN way for them to learn.
