Olympic Hills Family Newsletter
Next week, we celebrate Black Lives Matter in Schools Week. At Olympic Hills, we stand by our Black students, families, and staff to promote racial justice and equity. Our teachers will lead classroom conversations with students about identity, race, racism, gender, transgender rights, and racial justice throughout the week. We will do many of the same lessons as previous years, but this year families will be able to participate if you are interested. I am proud these conversations will not end at the close of the week, but rather continue and grow deeper with our Social Justice Curriculum. As always, please reach out to me with any questions or ideas, and thank you all for your partnership.
