The students at LJHS are doing GREAT things!

LJHS Homecoming was October 1st. The LJHS tornadoes played against York West. The final score was 6-6. The tornadoes will get the chance to play York West End again on Oct. 15th at York. They would love for you to come out and support them. The Homecoming coronation was on September 30th. The girls looked beautiful and represented LJHS well!

Recently the students celebrated motivational day. The students who excelled on the spring 2013 state testing were recognized with trophies and medallions. After the awards assembly, the students were provided snacks and spent the day playing games and celebrating their success! A big thanks to the 6th grade teachers for organizing this event!

The Student Government Association, SGA, is up and running!
The 2013-14 SGA officers are:

The LJHS Drama club is in full effect. They will be meeting after school throughout the year and plan to have at least one performance this year. More info will be made available at a later date.

Something new for the LJHS students this year is the LJHS Praise Dance team. Their first school performance was at Homecoming. They did an awesome job!
