Coming Up:

- Publishing House activities are rolling out very soon with information and guest speakers on November 18 and December 9. More soon!
Links to all student activities are available on the Sycamore Student Canvas page. Please email Mrs. Stanger if your student needs help accessing the page.
Elementary Chill Out Space
A new Canvas course called “Elementary Chill Out Space" is being added to each student’s dashboard. The Elementary Chill Out Space has three “rooms” full of resources for students and parents/guardians to access when they need it. I highly recommend it!
The Elementary Chill Out Space includes the following:
- A introduction room to the resources in the Elementary Chill Out Space
- A library with links to various social emotional read aloud books
- A coping skills room with ideas and links for breathing strategies, calming games, grounding techniques, yoga videos and much more
Each student needs to “accept” the invitation to this course. If your student missed the invitation, please let us know. We can ask for the invitation to be sent again.
Simple Scrip
Scrip is a gift card fundraising program. When our community members purchase a gift card, a percentage of the purchase is returned to our school. Typically we sell scrip out of the school office, offering both a holiday order and scrip to local businesses. We now have an app that will take your order and accept payment without the hassle of forms and checks. This is an incredibly easy way to raise funds for the school. This is such a handy way to purchase! Purchases can be mailed to your home (there is a small fee) or received as e-cards. Please share this information with friends and extended family members so they can join in.
1. Simply download the RaiseRight app on your smartphone
2. Select "Join a Program"
3. Enter Sycamore’s enrollment code AEFE49A43L158
4. Create your account
5. Follow the instructions in the app to start earning for our school
Please be aware: you may pay with a credit card or by connecting to your bank account. The app's “Pay Coordinator Directly” is NOT an option for our school.
In addition to purchasing through RaiseRight, we have the following local scrip still available for purchase: Eureka Burger, Rhino Records, Starbucks, Stater Bros, Vons, Sprouts, Wolfe’s, Eddie’s, Walters
To place an order for local scrip, please email Centia at Sycamoregovernance@gmail.com.
