District News & Announcements

NOW OPEN: 2020-21 Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-12 Registration

2020-21 online school registration is now open for all new and existing families – this includes 2-year old, 3-year old, and 4-year old preschoolers, developmental kindergartners (DK), kindergartners and students entering grades 1-12. All registration information is located online and viewable here.

  • 2-year-old and 3-year-old preschool registration opened February 5 @ 8 a.m. (Online and in-person)
  • 4-year-old preschool registration opeed February 12 @ 8 a.m. (Online and in-person)
  • Developmental Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration opened February 19 (Online)
  • Grades 1-12 registration opened February 19 (Online)

SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT

Superintendent Laura Kacer reported out on Goal #6 - Culture of Coaching. Laura shared her experience at the recent AASA Superintendent's Conference in San Diego. One of Laura's takeaways is a National Principal Supervisor Academy for 2020-21. This would directly pertain to Dr. Amendt's position supervising the school principals.


UPCOMING MEETINGS

Board meetings are held at the district office, located at 6510 NW 62nd Ave., Johnston. There is one March board meeting and that will take place on March 9, at 6 p.m. Meetings are also livestreamed at https://team1sports.com/johnston/.
