Thanksgiving Meal
Cafeteria Balances and Lunch Cost
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts extended free school meals for all students through the 2022-2023 school year. This means that breakfast and lunch will continue to be served at no cost to all students. Students still scan through a checkout to obtain a lunch.
Ala carte items and second lunches are extra. Students will need to pay, or have money on their account, to purchase these items.
Getting a 2nd Lunch - $3.00
Ice Cream - $1.25 (we limit one purchase per student)
Milk - .75 cents
Water - $1.00
WAYS TO PAY for additional items and second lunches:
Preferred method of payment:
Online: www.myschoolbucks.com---create an account and add money to that account:
After you log in or register (if new) then you can use your child’s birthday for the ID Number to add your child’s account.
You can also send in a check payable to:
Town of Marshfield
(child’s First/Last name in Memo)
You can also send in cash – please put in an envelope
marked Lunch Money with your child’s name on it. This should be handed to the cafeteria employee while in line for lunch.
As always, we are grateful for the opportunity to provide nourishing and healthy meals to all Marshfield Public Schools students. Reach out to Nancy Tellier with any questions or concerns (ntellier@mpsd.org).

CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS
Bus Assignments
Please know that each student is assigned to a bus for the purposes of transportation to and from school. Some of our students walk, some of our students obtain a parent ride, but most of our students take one of 16 busses that come to and from our school each day.
Please know that we cannot accommodate requests to ride different busses. Students can only ride a bus to which they are assigned. Bus seats are reserved for students who are coming to and from school only. Our busses do not function as public transportation or Gatra. We need to make sure every child who is assigned to bus transportation has bus transportation. Thank you for your understanding.
Additionally, any student who is going to be picked up during the school day, and dismissed from school, must be listed in the child's emergency contacts. We do not release children to people who are not already identified in ASPEN as emergency contacts. If you wish to have your child be released to another adult, a note must be received at the front office in writing. The person will also be required to show a driver's license.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep your child safe.
