TCB (Taking Care of Business)
- We've gotten lazy with Google Calendar (myself included). Please use it to schedule time in the breakout rooms rather than asking Ava to do it for you. Not sure how? Watch this 2 minute video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SseX7w0L_Is&feature=youtu.be
- Have you heard Sue and Sarah talk about Houston Kraft? Apparently he's the Justin Beiber for Character Education =). Anyway, he's doing a pre-conference section for the WI Character Conference @ Alverno on 6/19 from 1-4. Let me know if you'd like to attend, and I'll secure funds to send as many as I can. https://www.alverno.edu/assessment/characterconference/pre-conference-workshops.php
Academic Vocabulary with ELL

Staff Shout Outs to...
To Jackie, Holly, and all teachers for showing incredible flexibility when I totally forgot about an assembly I'd scheduled.--Meg
To Diane and Kathy for getting me through my first IEP. Sorry for all the questions.--Nicki
Shout-Out to Joe for his fantastic singing of The Christmas Song. Your Secret Snowflake was most impressed.
Shout-out to Joe for cleaning up the health room after a kid got sick . . . twice!! Thank you for having the stomach to handle that. --Holly
To Holly, for wiping the vomit off the student above...twice.
To Rachael for patiently teaching me new things. --Jenny
To Lori and Jenna who've been trying a new way of focusing student goals and giving feedback in reading.
To all of you who've put the plans made in data days right to work (Literally...every grade level!!!). It's amazing to see all the purposeful small groups!
To Jackie and Sarah who put in countless hours to accurately reflect all of our work in our National School of Character Application. It was amazing to reflect on all the work that's happened over the past 2 years. Way to go, team!
