APEX was a Huge Success!
Thank you to our wonderful LVIS community. We were able to raise over $10,000 with pledges for APEX. The money raised supports our students and teachers with resources, instructional supplies, and more. It provides funding to do the fun stuff that we love including student incentives, art club, UIL, Garey Park field trip, new playground equipment, and more. Thank you for supporting our school! It truly makes a difference! Thank you families for all your support!
Winter Parties on December 15th
On December 15th, we will have our classroom parties. If you would like to attend the party, please RSVP here. We will preprint visitor badges before the party so that parents do not have to wait in line.
In an effort to help with parking, the different grade levels are starting at different times throughout the day. We ask that no more than two guests per student due to the size of the classroom. It can get very crowded in the classroom. Thank you again!
Handmade with Love
A huge thank you to the ladies of St. Mary's for their beautiful handmade hats for all of our 4th graders. This has become a LVIS tradition. Every year, they have knitted hats for all of our 4th graders and new students to receive a special wool hat. These hats are made with love and care for someone special. Every hat is unique and special- just like our students! Thank you St Mary's!
The Week Before Winter Break...
This year has flown by! Let's celebrate the last week of the year in style.

12/13 - Deck the Halls! Bring out your favorite accessories (lights, garland, Santa hat, etc)
12/14 - Sweater Weather - Wear your favorite snuggly sweater (maybe it is an ugly holiday sweater)
12/15 - Tis the Season! Wear read and green and let's start the count down!
