Greetings from Principal Mira and Mrs. Collins
When we began the school year, we knew things were going to look different for us. We had to make adjustments to our lesson plans, routines, procedures, and use of resources. When we think we have a handle on the situation, the internet slows down or crashes on us. Fortunately, we have resilient students and staff. Every time we come across an obstacle, we make adjustments and keep moving on. As a principal, I am so proud of my students and staff, and I can’t wait for things to get back to normal.
During this virtual period, please observe the following expectations:
Make sure your child completes independent work without assistance. Our teachers use this information to help plan future activities.
If you have a question, email your child’s teacher. Instructional Zoom links are to be used for instruction only. During this time, our teachers receive more emails than usual. A response might take a little longer.
Teacher lesson plans will be available by Monday at 7:30 a.m. Email your child’s teacher if you did not receive a link to the plans.
Thank you for your partnership and commitment as we continue to do #SEMplyTheBest for our students.

Frisco ISD Responds to COVID-19
Frisco ISD continues to monitor the spread of COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus. The District receives regular updates and guidance from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath, and other local, state, and federal agencies regarding response, prevention, and mitigation efforts. This direction has changed repeatedly over the last several months and will continue to evolve based on COVID-19 conditions across the state and our local community.
Sem will be taking all of the mandated and necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. Below are documents that will provide more information as we embark on this unique school opening. This information can also be found on the Frisco ISD website.
