Childhood

Stevie Wonder became blind because he was receiving in an incubator as a baby because he was premature. All before the age of ten, he taught himself to play the harmonica, piano, and the drums. His gift for music showed when he was about 4 years old.

Career

He was recognized by Motown records at the age of 11. In 1992, he officially signed with Motown records. He did a lot of charity work and participated in a campaign for drunk driving.

Personal life (Adult)

Stevie was born on May 13, 1950 in Saginaw, MI. He was married twice, his first marriage was with Syreeta Wright, they got married in 1970 and got divorced in 1972, his second marriage was with Kai Millard Morris, they got married in 2001, and got divorced in 2015. Stevie has 8 children, their names are Sophia, Kailand, Aisha, Mandla, Kwame, Mumtaz, and Nia. He has been with his current girlfriend since 2012, her name is Tomeeka Robyn Bracy.

Conflict and Resolution

His conflict is Character vs. self and Character vs. nature. Stevie's resolution was that he motivated himself to learn how to play the piano and sing without any eyes and he is now very famous because he motivated and pushed himself to learn and not let being blind interfere with what he wanted to do the most.
