Happy New Year! I hope that you enjoyed the time with your families over winter break. We have a lot of exciting events that will occur in the month of January. Be sure to check the weekly newsletter for dates.
Here are a few highlights:
At the end of the month, we will be having our Community Connections meeting at Mill Creek on January 29th at 6PM. On January 31st at 6:30PM we will be at CB South for a Celebration of Our Schools.

Please join me in the Mill Creek library on Tuesday, January 29 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for “Community Connections,” one of a series of parent meetings scheduled to take place in each of our schools.
These meetings are designed to encourage frank conversations about our shared vision for the future of our schools. I hope you can find time to attend; I look forward to hearing your feedback and ideas.

Happy Friday Creekers!
Happy New Year Mill Creek! I hope that you enjoyed the winter break with your family! I am excited to be back and kick off 2019 at The Creek!
Over break Ella and I read a lot of books. One of our favorites was, In My Heart: A Book of Feelings. Ella loves turning the heart pages. It is definitely worth checking out.

Young Author's Day
We are pleased to welcome author, Max Brallier to
Mill Creek Elementary on Tuesday. January 29, 2018.
Max Brallier (aka Jack Chabert) is the author of books for young readers including the Eerie Elementary series, Galactic Hot Dog series and The Last Kids on Earth series.
If you would like to purchase a personally autographed copy of a book by Max Brallier, please download and print the order form located on the Library website. You can get to the website by clicking here. The order forms are due to Mrs. Hiriak no later than January 4th. Autographed books will be returned to the students January 30th.

Healthy Transitions from Elementary to Middle to High School
What to expect and how to help your children transition smoothly will be the topic presented in a relaxed, informal workshop by Dr. Christina Carson-Sacco. She is a psychologist and practice owner of The Center for Neuropsychology & Counseling, with offices in Warrington and Lafayette Hill.
