Reporting a positive Covid result out of hours

Should you believe your child to have Covid-19 symptoms and need to go into self-isolation, please notify the school office in the usual way via phone or email.

Should you receive a ‘test positive’ result for your child it is VITAL that you notify us as soon as possible: During school hours – directly to the school office via 01937 557396.

Out of hours send an email to (stating student’s full name and class, contact phone number, date and time of positive Covid test result – please use TEST POSITIVE in the title)

It is VITAL that you let us know as soon as you possibly can so that we can implement contingency planning.

Covid Prevention

Thank you for adhering to our ongoing Covid-19 prevention measures. Now that the country has come out of lockdown, it is important that we all remember to keep to our rules. Please always remember to wash hands and belongings regularly, maintain social distance and (adults) wear a mask. Please also leave enough room for children in other bubbles to pass.

If anyone in your family shows symptoms, the whole family must isolate until a negative test result is obtained. We would not like all our hard work this term to be undone in the run up to Christmas, and none of us wants to be self-isolating in the coming weeks.

Covid App

Don’t forget that our school has registered with the Covid Symptom Study to help monitor the spread of the virus. If you would like to participate, you will need to register with the code AFXPPKY. For more information including full instructions on how to join and use the COVID Symptom Study app please head to:

Christmas Jumper Day - Save the Children

Don't forget that next Friday is Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children. All children are invited to come into school in their Christmas Jumpers and make a donation to the charity. All donations should be made by ParentPay.

Christmas Cards

The Christmas Card post box is in school. Children can write cards to their friends (in our school only please!) and post them in the box in the school entrance. Please ensure that the full name and class is written on the envelope. All cards need to be sent into school by Tuesday 15th December to ensure that they can be sanitised and given out before Christmas.

Indoor Shoes

Please remember to ensure that your child has a pair of indoor shoes to change into. We cannot allow them to wear muddy shoes indoors and if they have to walk around without shoes there is a risk of injury from sharp objects etc on the floor.

Please remember that if your child has sickness or diarrhoea, they need to remain off school until 48 hours after the last episode.

Big Energy Saving Winter: Tip of the Week!

Does your household include a child under 5, a pensioner or someone with a long-term health condition or disability?

If so, ask your energy supplier to put you onto their Priority Services Register. This offers extra support if there was a power cut or if the gas went off, as well as help reading meters and alternative communication methods

Next week will be on WEEK 1 of the lunch menu. If you would like to make any changes can you please ensure you let the office know as soon as possible.
