- Hercules is thought to have accomplished many quests, including capturing the Cretan Bull, stealing the apples of the Hesperides, capturing and bringing back Cerberus, and many, many more.
- In art, Hercules is commonly represented wearing a lion skin, wielding a club, and having toned, muscular features.

Hercules has a clear conflict: Hercules is always the good guy and he always faces a villain, usually a mythical monster.
