THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
STUDENT CHROMEBOOKS
Moving forward the Technology Department will not be giving loaner Chromebooks to students who have lost or come to school without their devices charged. The reasoning behind this change is due to borrowed equipment not being returned to the Tech Center and/or lost. If a student has a device that is not functioning correctly they can visit the Tech Office and get a loaner while their issued device is being diagnosed. Below are some resources for students and families..
LATE BUS REMINDERS
To start the new year we would like to take some time to reset the expectations for how we operate at the middle school. In the upcoming weeks, we will meet with students to review and kick off semester 2. Below is a list of reminders for students who access the late bus.
Location: Courtyard Cafe (across from the main office)
- Students must be staying with a staff member prior to getting on the late bus (i.e. extra-help, clubs, community service).
- Students must remain in the building and on school grounds.
- When dismissed from the activity go directly to the cafe, Sit in a seat/stool (do not sit on the tables) and talk, use your device, homework, or any other quiet appropriate activity.
- Use indoor voices and school appropriate language. We have many visitors after school for meetings, sporting events, etc. and want to make sure that we give them a great first impression.
- When the staff member is speaking, please stop talking, take out your ear buds and listen. We do not want any student to miss their bus.
