EBSCO Database
Best used to find academic articles
What is EBSCO?
EBSCO is a database that houses resources such as eBooks, magazines, newspapers, and academic journals. Students and staff can create RSS feeds to alert them when new articles involving their research become available. They can also create folders to keep track of articles or submit articles to Google Classroom. EBSCO also provides citations for articles.

How to set up an RSS Feed
What is an RSS Feed?
It is an alert that you can set allowing the database to send you an email anytime a new article concerning your research topic becomes available.
How to Subscribe
Type in search terms to any of the EBSCO databases (all of our other databases also allow you to create an RSS feed.) When the search comes back with articles to choose from, a box will appear above the articles containing the RSS symbol. At the bottom right of that box is a "Share" button.
Create the Alert
After clicking the "Share" button, a window will pop up prompting you to choose how often you want updates. Click "Save Alert", and you will begin receiving your alerts.
