Notes from Coach Kim

Don't forget, JH registration for boys' basketball and girls' softball closes on Sept. 21st! Payment will not be due until your athlete makes a team. This is a change from the first round of sports this year. You can find team schedules and coach contact info on our website TCAtitans.org under JH Athletics and Registration. Practice schedules have not yet been posted.

Last week was a GREAT week for JH athletics! JH volleyball continued their dominance with 2 wins moving both teams to 6-0! The JH football teams earned their first wins with dominating performances. JH cross country continued their dominating performance as well! This week JH volleyball and JH cross country will wrap up their season. Thank you again to our athletes, coaches, and parents for making athletics such a positive experience for our athletes!

We are still looking for a JH Slow-Pitch Softball coach! If you, or anyone you know is interested, please have them give me a call at (719) 488-6245.

Junior High registration for Girls’ Softball and Boys’ Basketball is open and will close on 9/21/22. All traditional TCA students will need to register online and upload a current physical that will cover the entire sport season. All CP students will need to additionally upload an eligibility form (signed by Pam Steiner) and a D20 assignment letter as well. JH Cross Country

Our team pulled out some fantastic results last week. EVERY boy that ran got a new PR.

We have some inside competition on the girl's side that has been fun to watch. All but 5 girls got a new PR and that is saying something (boys included) since this was a hillier course than Palmer Lake which was most runner’s PR. We still have work to do but it has been a fun journey this far!

8th grade girls were team champs once again last week! Both 7th and 8th grade boys were runners up and 7th grade girls took 3rd.

JH Football

Both JH football teams earned their first win against Eagleview MS last week! Both teams played hard and have improved so much over the course of the season. It's great seeing the sportsmanship both the athletes and the coaches are displaying as well!

JH Volleyball

Both JH volleyball teams moved to 6-0 with their win over Challenger and Elizabeth MS last week. One more regular season game remains and then 8th grade will prepare for their league tournament at the end of the week. It's been so fun watching these girls excel at their sport!
