TORBUSH FALLS AT SEMI-STATE
Dylan Torbush fell in the second period of his first semi-state match on Saturday in Fort Wayne. Dylan took an early lead, before losing by pin to a very strong wrestler. Although Dylan did not advance, Warrior Nation could not be more proud of our Warrior wrestler. Dylan has had a a great season, and a tremendous career as a Warrior wrestler at Wes-Del. Congratulations Dylan!
SUTTER FOSTER SCORES 45 POINTS FRIDAY NIGHT AS WARRIORS IMPROVE TO 14-5 ON THE SEASON
Sutter Foster led the Warriors with 45 points, and Tevin Richards added 20 points of his own as the Warriors dominated the Eastbrook Panthers in Richard E. Johnson gymnasium Friday evening. Foster had 26 points at halftime thanks to a hot hand from three point range, including a buzzer-beater fadeaway in front of the Panther bench to end the half. In the third quarter, Foster continued his dominance adding 14 more points to reach 40 after three quarters of play. Eastbrook held Foster to 5 points in the fourth by using the hack-a-Sutter strategy by fouling him before he could shoot it. Foster and Richards combined for 65 of the Warriors 80 points, as the Warriors improved to 14-5 on the season. The Warriors are back in action Thursday at Burris, and Friday at home against Blue River. Come out and support your Warriors this week!
