Congratulations to all our winners and students who participated on Saturday! Way to represent SMG! Thank you to Saint John the Apostle Principal, Amy Felton, for hosting this year's diocesan History Fair.

SMG Cheer Meeting

SMG Cheer Meeting

Ms. Meurer (2B) and Mrs. Rios will be hosting an informational meeting for any incoming sixth through eighth grader interested in becoming an SMG cheerleader. The meeting will be Monday, February 27th at 6:30PM in Mrs. Meurer's room. This will be a uniformed activity and will work with students involved with sports. This is an interest based leadership program and just as our athletic program, it will be a sign-up process...no tryouts.

New to SMG: Miss Persis Ann Studios Comes to SMG

Miss Persis Studio is now offering classes for our students at SMG. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Classes will be held after school in the cafetorium. This would be a great opportunity for our students attending SMEED as well. See the flyer below!

Spirit Hours

The next SPIRIT Hour Report for the school year will go out in mid-February.

Upcoming SPIRIT Hour Opportunities:

  • Lunchroom and Playground Volunteers, daily : we are in desperate need of volunteers to help during lunch periods as Milk Server, Table Monitor, and Playground Monitor
  • Basketball Concessions: Volunteers are needed to work concessions at basketball games January 14th - February 25th. High school volunteers are welcome.
Community Rosary Group

Community Rosary Group

All are invited to join in on a weekly morning Rosary in the Saint Maria Center. There is no better way to begin the day than spending a few moments with God. Rosary prayers only take about twenty minutes. Come each week or drop in as often as those busy schedules allow.
