Parents Advocating Understanding and Supporting Each Other. A retreat for female caregivers of children with hearing loss. Texas Hands & Voices, Region 15, and West Texas Rehabilitation Center have joined together to bring you a retreat filled with information, fellowship, and best of all, pampering. The setting is the lovely Hummer House in Christoval, Texas. The retreat will feature presentations by Texas Hands & Voices, discussion and a panel question and answer. We hope that you will take advantage of the unique opportunity to 'get away from it all' and experience a bit of 'me' time.

Texas Hands and Voices Job Openings for Parents
Texas Hands and Voices Guide by your Side Program is looking for parents of deaf or hard of hearing children to provide support to families with deaf or hard of hearing children. Training is provided, and most work is done from your home.

The goal of the program is to provide parents – with d/hh children ages birth to twenty-one - the opportunity to establish a supportive relationship with a trained and experienced fellow parent and/or a d/Deaf or hard of hearing adult.
