Child Care Chalkboard

October 1-31

Theme of the Month: Fall Harvest

Goodbye to Mrs. Scott

After 21 years we are sadly saying goodbye to Mrs. Scott. She has beautifully led this childcare through many situations, good and bad. We are sad to see her go, but wish her the best in the next path of her life. Although October 8 will be her last day as director, we are blessed that she is willing to finish out the remainder of the year in a limited capacity. God bless you in the years ahead, Mrs. Scott. We love you dearly!

You are invited to a reception at the church on October 24, 9:00-10:30am in honor of Mrs. Scott.

Items for Fall

As the weather turns cooler, please check to make sure your child has appropriate extra clothes in their cubby. Mornings are always a little colder so please send a jacket also.

School Picture Opportunity

October 28

Swan Lake Studio will be at Trinity School on October 28th taking individual pictures of kids. If you are interested in having your child's photo taken, please talk with your classroom teacher. (Ordering can be done online, just click the link below; or with an order form, which will be available later.) Online Code: 61517RA

Pajama Day--Roly Polys, Wiggleworms, Butterflies and Beehive

We would like to encourage your child to participate in a PJ Party, Monday, November 1st!

After a busy night of Trick or Treating, wake up and come in your Pajamas!

Red group Preschool will need to dress appropriately for preschool but can bring pajamas for after lunch.

Kids Say the Darndest Things

During breakfast, Miss Ashley was talking to the children about where our food comes from. When she asked where hamburgers come from one of the Butterflies answered, "A restaurant, silly!"

For breakfast the children had strawberries and kiwi. One of the Wiggleworms said, "More cucumbers, please."

One of the Busy Bees came out to the office to tell me hello. I wasn't there, but there was a stuffed animal sitting on my chair. He ran back to the room and announced, "Miss Ream turned into a bear!"

Summer Survey

We sent the Summer Survey out earlier this month. It is through Google Forms this year. If you have not filled yours out, please do so as soon as possible. It is helpful for us to have your feedback.

Immunization Update

When your child receives new immunizations, please bring those records in to the office. We must keep immunizations up to date on all children. Our records are checked twice a year to make sure all children are current. Thank you for your help in this matter.
