What resources does Ecuador have?

One of the most important resources in Ecuadorian lives is petroleum. is sometimes exported to other countries because Ecuador has so much of it.Ecuador is very dependent on petroleum. Petroleum is a resource that they use as fuel. some other resources include cadmium,copper,gold,silver,lead,zinc,bentonite,and feldspar.

Are there other sports to play in Ecuador than just futbol?

Yes but the most popular is futbol also known in America, Soccer.They play the same way here in america.Kids play in the dirt bear footed sometimes. Kids spend more of there time playing futbol with friends than playing video games.

How is Ecuador's culture and our culture different?

The first thing to realize about Ecuadorian culture is that it is not one single culture. Instead it is a whole range of cultures mingled together, representing every level of this very stratified community.


Ecuador's official language is Spanish, but Quichua - an Incan language - is spoken by the Indian population. Besides Spanish, ten native languages are spoken in Ecuador. English is the most spoken foreign language among tourism service providers and professionals.


The Afro- Ecuadorians that are present in Ecuador today are famous for their marimba music and many land music dance festivals. Long before the Spanish conquered Ecuador and even before the rise of Incan civilization, the diverse native cultures of the region had rich musical traditions. Music played an important role in the ancient Andean people’s lives and archaeologists have found some very old instruments, such as, drums, flutes, trumpets and other musical artifacts, in ancient tombs.

What famous land forms does Ecuador have?

The name Ecuador comes from the spanish word "equator",as the country straddles the northern and southern hemispheres.Three of the country's distinct regions bear spanish names describing the terrain:La Coasta or The Coast; Seirra or mountain range;Oriente, or the east.The fourth region consists the Galapagos Archipelagos,600 miles off the Pacific coast.Ecuador lies on the borders of the earth's tectonic plates making it vulnerable to earthquakes.
