Dear CCA Parents & Guardians – CCA values your feedback and would like to hear from you. After Winter Break, you will have an opportunity to provide both positive and constructive feedback on teachers and the school environment via our annual survey (available starting January 9, 2023). The survey is designed to take 20 minutes or less to complete. In exchange for your feedback you are allowed to enter two hours of volunteer time. Please look for the link in future Eagles.

Our 2nd grade student Noah W. recently entered art in the National Western Stock Show Youth Art Contest. He won GRAND CHAMPION with his work, "Hummingbird Visit My Backyard!"

They are going to custom frame his work for him and it will be on display at the National Western Stock Show in January. Congratulations to Noah! We are so proud of you and your wonderful artwork!

Parents you may ask: Should My Child Come to School?

Cherry Creek Schools has launched a new mental health teletherapy service with Hazel Health. With Hazel, students can meet with a licensed therapist at home, providing mental healthcare and bridging the gap until local therapists become available if the student/family wants to continue care. Hazel Health is a no-cost mental health service and is available to every student in grades 6 through 12, regardless of their insurance or financial situation. Cherry Creek School District is implementing a NEW School Choice application system and updated policies. This new application system will be used for all choice applications, including Non-Resident and Intra-District Transfer requests. Parents will be able to submit a School Choice application for the 2023-2024 school year starting January 1, 2023. This date is for residents and non-residents of the school district.

The first lottery run will be done in early February and will include district residents, non-resident employees’ children, and students that are currently enrolled as a non-resident or on a 1-year Intra-District transfer. Parents will be notified of the decisions by February 15th. All other applications and those submitted after February 1st will be included in bi-weekly lottery runs starting in late February.

Students who are accepted to a choice school will be accepted to the highest-grade level for that school, provided they meet the continuing enrollment criteria. Additional details about School Choice and the continuing enrollment criteria can be found in the School Choice Transfers section of the Admissions website: https://www.cherrycreekschools.org/domain/1145.

Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation.
