Testing season
Congrats to our upper grades on a great first week of testing! Thank you to everyone in the building as you have supported all of our students with little treats, words, signs of encouragement, and with keeping hallways quiet during transition times. In addition, thank you to each of you for giving our students the lessons that not only matter on the test but in life.

ELL forms
In December of this past year, emails from the Ellevation platform were sent out to teachers requesting that they log in to complete “monitoring forms” for current English learners and for those students who have exited our program within the past 2 years. These emails were unannounced which caused some confusion and frustration. This time around, I’m taking a moment to reach out ahead of time to let you all know that emails are scheduled to go out again on May 4th (approximately three weeks prior to the end of second semester). If you could please submit these forms, this will help us continue to meet our obligation to monitor the academic progress of students who have exited the ELL program and provide us with invaluable feedback regarding students who are currently designated as English learners.
Employee Recognition
Take some time to nominate a colleague this week. You are doing outstanding things! Let's recognize each other!
