Most of the immigrants who came to America through Ellis Island were from Eastern and Southern Europe.They had to trekked hundreds of miles of miles just to get to the boats,to board them.They either came on foot horse back or train.

How The Immigrants Got To Were They Boarded The Ships?

Many immigrants trekked hundreds of miles across Europe to get to a seaport were they could then board a steamship.they came by all of the above just to get to were they would finally board the steamships.
