Distinguished Artist Natalie
Natalie is the Distinguished Artist for her line monster painting. For this project we learned about lines, shapes, and colors! Students used a black marker to make different types of lines across their paper. Then they painted over the lines with all different colors. Finally they used shapes to make a monster face. Natalie was chosen for her monster because of her great lines, painting, and cute monster face! Way to go Natalie!
Happy Retirement to Ms Donaldson

Helpful Visual For Teaching Young Children How To Put On Winter Wear
Winter Is Coming...
STRONG RECOMMENDATION - Students should have their coat and mittens washed at least every other weekend. With the young age of our students, it is very common for them wipe their nose on their gloves or coat. Consistent washing of these items will cut down on germs in the building. Now is a good time to clean out those backpacks too.
Extra Clothes In Backpacks
Also - many of our students do have an extra change of clothes in their backpacks, however, they still have summer clothing from the start of school. Take a look this weekend and change out those shorts for long pants!
And as always - if you have any clothing that your child has outgrown, consider donating any pants and underwear to Baker Elementary. This is greatly appreciated. Size 5 - size 12. No shirts are needed at this time.
