Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul

Theme for the Year - TRUTH

At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples by revealing the Truth of Christ to others through our actions.

Our Mission and Vision Statements

St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

From the Principal

Happy Easter!

As the last day of school approaches, there is much excitement in the air! Tomorrow, the classrooms will be filled with smiling faces celebrating the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

I have had the pleasure of welcoming you and your children to school in the mornings, and have watched each child increase in height and in confidence with each passing day. It is such an honor to be part of this school.

On behalf of all the Faculty and Staff of St. Joseph Catholic School, I want to thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children, and for all you do for our school. Be sure to keep us all in your daily prayers over the break, as we will be certain to keep you in ours.

In Christ's service,

Diane Price, M.Ed.L.

Safe Environment Training

You must first create a profile in VIRTUS for the Safe Environment Diocesan Program.

Per the Diocese, all school volunteers if they are current on Safe Environment, will have until 7/31/19 to renew through VIRTUS if you do not expire before that date. You need to go on the VIRTUS website and make a profile. You can do this without signing up for a class. Profiles are needed in the new system so we know you have previous training, as the old database is no longer open for viewing.

Frassati Award Recipient

Big picture
Congratulations, Trey Cantu, for receiving the Frassati Award this week! The model of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati encourages us all to find small ways to show love for one another. Thank you for helping your classmate! As Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati once stated, "There is nothing more beautiful than love."

The Beatitude you have exhibited: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Moments Captured around campus

Mrs. Aguirre and Mrs. Corneil helped their first grade classes place small garden rocks around the statue in the Rosary Garden. They decorated these beautiful rocks during their Religion lesson about Peter being The Rock of the Church. They also had a special visitor, Fr. Philip Brembah, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church!

Frog Day!

Field Trip

Mrs. Wolanin and Mr. Rodriguez escorted third grade during a visit to Globe Life Park for Weather Day! A huge thank you to all the parents who also volunteered for the day. We could not do these trips without you!
