December Newsletter
Mrs. Swank's News...
The Holiday Song Fest will be Thursday, December 19th in the afternoon. Unfortunately we cannot invite parents to attend as there will not be room. I will be live streaming this event on Bellville Elementary's Twitter Account @BellvilleCFVLS. In addition, you will be able to watch the festivities at your convenience on the music website. There is a link to the website found at the top of the Bellville Homepage. Information about accessing the recorded video will be sent out via remind. Thank you for your understanding.
Please make sure your child is dressed for winter weather including coat, hat, gloves and boots. We are going to make every attempt to go outside for recess, and we have many students who are not dressing appropriately for winter weather. If you are having trouble getting your child these items, please contact me and I will put you in contact with the proper channels to help you.
Bellville Elementary will be offering breakfast on two hour delay days!! This is an exciting change for our students. The breakfast menu on these days will be Pop Tarts, juice and milk; the regularly scheduled breakfast will not be served. Please do not forget students should not arrive to school until 9:20 a.m. on two hour delay days!!
All of us here at Bellville Elementary wish you and your family a safe and fun winter break and we look forward to seeing you on January 6, 2020!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Stacey Swank

Hello Bellville Elementary! My name is Mr. Black, and I am very excited to be teaching you music for these next few months! Mrs. Swift has asked me to write a little bit about myself so that you know what to expect when I show up. To start off, music is my favorite thing in the world. I love to sing and I love to play piano. When you see me, I bet you will notice that I always have headphones around my neck. That's because whenever I have spare time I spend it listening to my favorite songs. My favorite kinds of music are Broadway, Classical and Soul.
I am also a big sports fan. I spend a lot of my time in the gym playing sports like basketball and racquetball or lifting weights. It's very important to me that I stay healthy and exercise is an important part of being healthy. Of course, one of my favorite things to do is help turn elementary students like you into talented young musicians.
Now you know a few things about me and I'm eager to learn things about all of you as well!
Can't wait to meet you all,
Mr. B
