Teaching Professions Program at Clark Hall Making an Impact
Students Return to GJPS to Teach
The Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools Teaching Professions program housed at Clark Hall gives juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn about child development and teaching methods while developing classroom management and presentation skills.
In addition to learning in the classroom, students participate in shadowing experiences, internships, and field trips to prepare for a career as a teacher, counselor, paraprofessional and more.
Giving students the opportunity to see themselves in the teaching profession while still in high school, paves the way for them to return to Gahanna-Jefferson as teachers when they graduate college.

Superintendent Search Questionnaire
Questionnaire Due by April 22, 2022
The Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education has hired the search firm Finding Leaders, to help in the search for the next GJPS Superintendent when Mr. Barrett retires August 1. The board will make the final decision as to who the next superintendent will be, however, the board would like to benefit from your thoughts and perceptions as they contemplate this very important decision.
Please complete this survey to help us develop the profile of our next superintendent. It is important to not just find the best superintendent, but the best superintendent for Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to this survey. Your thoughtful insights will ensure that stakeholders' views are heard by the GJPS Board of Education.
