Don't think your students can code? My Kindergarten daughter did several coding activities on the iPad last year. Check out these resources.

What is the Hour of Code?
The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event. One-hour tutorials are available in over 40 languages. No teacher OR student experience needed. Ages 4 to 104.

With the Hour of Code, computer science has been on homepages of Google, MSN, Yahoo! and Disney. Over 100 partners joined together to support this movement. Last year, every Apple Store in the world hosted an Hour of Code and even President Obama wrote his first line of code as part of the campaign.

This year, let's make it even bigger. I’m asking you to join in for the Hour of Code 2015. Please get involved with an Hour of Code event during Computer Science Education Week, December 7-13.

Lots of helpful information here.

After you sign up, "tweet" your success. You can also email me a screenshot. All who sign up for the Hour of Code event will be entered in a drawing to win a Sonic Gift Card!
