" I yam what I yam, and that's all that I yam."
One persons voice being heard
I recently had the pleasure to sit down and spend time with Senator Ernie Chambers. One of the most controversial people in Nebraska's political history. Whether you agree or disagree with his views his voice has been heard, and he has brought change.
Ernie Chambers represents district 11 in the Nebraska state senate. He has served as senator for 42 years, 38 of them in a row. Ernie refused to join the Nebraska State Bar Association because he doesn't want to be a part of any groups, or clubs. He can't practice law because of his refusal to join. He feels his greatest victory was getting rid of the death penalty in Nebraska
