SPCAS Parent Update
March 31 - April 3, 2020
Congratulations to Mrs. Heyward, Sunset Park's 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year!!! We are proud of Mrs. Heyward!
A quick note from Dr. Barnes:
Spring Break will run April 6 - 10. Students are not required to do any assignments during this time.
Packets for April 1 - April 17 (minus Spring Break) will be mailed on Wednesday to the addresses we have in PowerSchool. There will be no school pick-up as was completed during our first round of school closing. Per the Central Office, Kindergarten-2nd grade students will have 60 minutes of work to complete daily and 3rd-5th grade students will have 90 minutes of work daily.
I encourage you to continue to have your child(ren) contribute to the Ivan Reaction/Trivia Boards, complete an Ivan Project, and complete the Virtual Enrichment Cluster. This is optional.
We hope you will join us for the Virtual Ivan Extravaganza on Thursday, April 2.
If you have any questions, please let me know at nbarnes@rhmail.org.
Thank you for your continued support as we work through our remote/eLearning process that has challenged all of us to think and work differently.
Children First,
Dr. Barnes
