We miss you!
Home and School Board Elections
Dear Jamison Community,
We hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy. While this is a difficult time, we are looking forward to less stressful times ahead.
As you may know, we were planning to hold our annual elections for the Home and School Association Board this spring. Unfortunately, we are unable to proceed as planned. Before we finalize our slate of candidates, we wanted to reach out to the community one final time to see if there is any additional interest in running for any of our open positions - President, Treasurer and Secretary.
If you would like to be nominated for one of the open positions, please email our Nominating Committee, Toni Holstine at toni.holstine@yahoo.com, Bridget Liczbinski at auntbridgy1@aol.com, or Cindy Zeigler at cindy.b.zeigler@gmail.com. The deadline to nominate yourself will be Tuesday, May 5.
In the event we do not hear from anyone else, the slate of candidates that will be approved for the 2020-2021 will be as follows:
Lindsey Heller - Has finished her two year term, but per the by-laws can run for one additional year as President - Current President
Ryan Murray - Will remain in this position for the 2nd year of his two year term - Current Vice President 1
Toni Holstine - Will run for a two year term as Vice President 2 - Current Secretary
Stefanie Muldoon - Has finished her two year term, but per the by-laws can run for one additional year as Treasurer - Current Treasurer
Tanya Visnevsky - Will run for a two year term as Secretary - Not currently on the Board
If you have any questions about this process, a specific position, or would like to chair one of our event committees, please email Lindsey Heller at hsajamisonel@gmail.com.
We will get through this together!
Best,
Lindsey Heller
A Special Read Aloud
This week for your Library lesson you will see Mrs. Tucker, Jamison’s building substitute, featured in the read aloud! She will read you a special book titled, A Bug and a Wish written by Karen Scheuer, who is Mrs. Tucker’s mom! Mrs. Tucker has an activity at the end of the video for you to complete with her too! Mrs. Salter and Mrs. Tucker look forward to seeing your activity on SeeSaw (Grades 1-6) this week! Kindergarten students will also get to hear the read aloud on Friday, May 8th, when it will be shared in an email from the Kindergarten homeroom teacher. Optional: Kindergarten may email a picture of their activity to Mrs. Tucker at dscheuer@cbsd.org to show her your creation! We hope you enjoy the book!
*If students in grades 1-6 still have not logged into SeeSaw to complete their specials activities, please do that this week, so you can see Mrs. Tucker’s read aloud. Visit myapps.microsoft.com > login with student’s CBSD user name and password > Click Clever > Click SeeSaw! Email Mrs. Salter at tsalter@cbsd.org if you need a student’s user name and password or if you need help accessing SeeSaw!
2020 - 2021 Enrollment
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Each year at this time it is necessary for us to determine, as nearly as possible, our enrollment for the coming school year. Your assistance in helping us arrive at this preliminary estimate is greatly appreciated. If your child will not be returning to Jamison for the 2020-2021 school year, please email Mrs. Bradley, Principal’s Secretary, at lbradley@cbsd.org to indicate whether your child(ren) will be attending a private/parochial school or if your family will be moving from the Jamison attendance area next year. Thank you.

Pictures
If interested, feel free to take a picture of your child completing Distance Learning or any other activity (shooting baskets, fishing, playing an instrument, crafts, baking, playing a board game, etc...) I'd like to put some pictures together and send them out to the community in two weeks within our News-N-Notes email blast. Email them directly to me at mcroyle@cbsd.org if interested. Please title your email "Jamison picture."
Thank you,
Mr. Croyle
Thank you
I wanted to personally thank the entire community for all of the support you have been providing. Your efforts with your own children, your positive comments to me and the staff, mean so much! Please know that I'm also aware of the difficulties our new learning platform has caused. Many of you have problem-solved with your child's teacher as we continue to navigate this new landscape. PLEASE know that the Jamison staff continues to be there for you. If you are in need for any reason, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of our staff members.
I certainly miss seeing the students each day and interacting with our community members.
Respectfully,
Mr. Croyle
