Clothing Donations

Please help! We are in need of clothing for the nurses clinic. If you have gently used clothing that your children have outgrown, please consider donating to our clinic. We are in need of pull up or elastic shorts or pants starting in size 5. Also, if you can send in a ziploc bag a change of clothing in your child's backpack. Accidents happen, spills happen, wet grass, etc.

4th Grade Pumpkins

Here are a few pictures of the pumpkins by our 4th graders! What a great turnout we had!

Conroe ISD Bond

The November 5th Bond Referendum contains a second proposition, Proposition B, which includes the installation of artificial turf on the fields used by Oak Ridge, TW College Park, Conroe, Caney Creek and The Woodlands High School. This will allow the 15,000+ students to use the fields for their activities on a more consistent basis. To view more information about Proposition B and learn more about the November 2019 Bond Election, please visit www.conroeisd.net/bond or visit our Facebook page at @CISDBond2019.

Fill the Food Pantry

In partnership with Interfaith of The Woodlands, Sally K. Ride would once again like to host a food drive in order to fill the pantry during this time of year. In each hallway, there will be plastic bins set up for Challengers to drop off their donations. Fourth grade students will be there to receive the donations each morning. Our food drive will run from: Tuesday, November 12th thru Monday, November 18th.

Winter Clothing

With the weather changing, we are noticing more and more jackets in our Lost and Found. PLEASE label your child's clothing! Also, please come in and take a look at our Lost and Found. We have an abundance of clothing with no names. We will be donating any unclaimed items at the Christmas break!

Head Lice

Head lice, although not an illness or a disease, is very common among children and is spread very easily through head-to-head contact during play, sports, and when students share things like brushes, combs, hats and headphones. PLEASE help us reduce lice incidence by checking your child's head throughout the year. Thank you in advance

3rd Grade Program

Please join us on Thursday, November 7th at 6 pm for the 3rd grade Patriotic music program. Our students have been working very hard to prepare for their performance and we are excited to showcase their talents.

Character Trait Citizenship

During the month of November we will be focusing on the character trait citizenship. Being a good citizen means to be a caring, respectful person who obeys the rules. There are many ways to be a good citizen both at home and at school. A few examples are listed. Students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade will write how to be a good citizen on leaf cutouts that will be displayed on the tree in the hallway.
